Set among the trees and just a short walk from white-sand beaches and surf breaks, the property takes its cues from Guanacaste, reinterpreting familiar local architecture through a contemporary lens. A large open-air rancho anchors the house, while long covered walkways weave through rooms, gardens and shared spaces, keeping everything open to the landscape and life outside.
Under the rancho you’ll find the front desk, SOMOS Restaurant, taking you from the first coffee of the morning to the last drink at night, The Somos Surf Shop, with our own apparel, a curated selection of brands and surfboards built at our board factory in Santa Teresa, and The Sweat Den, with a gym, sauna, cold plunge and a full program built around movement and recovery.
From there, the house opens onto the pool and tropical gardens, with plenty of space to slow down or spend the afternoon doing very little. Our shared living room has an open guest kitchen and pool table, and plenty of room for hanging around, meeting people and letting plans change.
