OPTION 1) Fly
Step 1 After arriving in Liberia or San Jose, you can quickest and one of the most beautiful flights in the country Cobano Airport. Sansa Airlines and Green Airways are two airlines that we trust.
Step 2) After landing in Tambor its a leisurely 25min ride in the shuttle that you can book HERE
OPTION 2) Drive or shuttle
If you’re looking for the more inexpensive option, driving from San Jose or Liberia to Playa Santa Teresa is your option.
Step 1) You will need to either rent a car or take a shuttle.
Step 2) From SJO you will head to the port city of Puntarenas (1.5hr drive) to catch the Ferry to Tambor (1hr Ferry ride) . The Ferry costs approximately $20-40USD each way. From LIR It will take 6 hours in car to arrive
