RYAN LOVELACE - Lovemachine Surfboards

LoveMachine takes selected Ryan Lovelace designs and makes them available well beyond his own shaping room. The starting point is a board developed by hand. Technology then helps reproduce the design, with skilled builders handling the finishing work. The process is out in the open.

Even the sizing gets its own attention. Multiple handshaped boards are scanned across a range, keeping the changes in rails, rocker and outline that different lengths need. The FM is a good place to see that thinking at work. Ryan keeps his personal handshapes as a separate practice. LoveMachine gets selected designs into more lineups.

Our in house Shaper Josh Peterson has been ghost shaping for him throught his career. He knows the lines to follow.
